Interdisciplinary Studies
The interdisciplinary studies degree program permits a student to design an individual plan of study involving two or more academic disciplines.
With the guidance of a faculty committee, the student provides evidence of disciplined academic inquiry through the development of:
- A rationale for an individual plan of study
- Long-range learning objectives
- A coherent program of study to attain objectives
The student may earn a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Interested students who have completed at least 30 semester hours of coursework with a 3.0 GPA may file petition forms in the Office of the Provost.
