The interdisciplinary studies degree program permits a student, under the guidance of a faculty committee, to design and carry out an individual plan of study involving two or more academic disciplines.

The student provides evidence of disciplined academic inquiry through the development of:

    * A rationale for an individual plan of study
    * Long-range learning objectives
    * A coherent program of study to attain objectives

The student may earn a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Interested students who have completed at least 30 semester hours of coursework with a 3.0 GPA may file petition forms with the Director of Interdisciplinary Studies.
